Ever since AIM has been making more recent changes, I find the app having more and more issues. I only get notifs half of the time, the app freezes like crazy, itll show me duplicate messages at time, and just generally a pain to use. I know its not my phone because I dont have issues with other apps.

Get this for error for every conversation I try to start. Why wont they let other IM apps work with AIM anymore? Guess after 20 years of AIM its dead for good.

Simple but very reliable chat medium that has weathered and evolved nicely over the years.

Why does this happen? No reason, connected to wifi, used it all day then suddenly wants to crash and I cant see my messages cant open the app for anything. Fix this stupid bug.

I remember growing up with dial in internet service. Aim or aol messenger was the way people communicated over the internet socially until social media came along

It wont let me send messages everytime I push send it says "cant send message at this time."

Cant see my contacts or start chats. Not sure when the incompatibility issue began, but it went from being a good app to being entirely worthless.

My friends list on this app has dwindled to less than a dozen names; its a couple hundred or more on other applications. When I took the app for a recent test drive; only one of my contacts replied. Its time to say bye-bye AIM.

Dont expect to use this app to chat with your friends as frequently as you would as other apps like Groupme, iMessage, or Snapchat. Theres a daily message limit that you can easily hit which results in a temporary ban.

Every time I try to sign up it says "were sorry" and say to try again later, Ive tried to uninstall and install it again but it does the same thing... :((

Not on the app or the website. It just says it cant be done. Unusable.

If AOL had been mentioned it the description, I wouldnt have chosen this app.

It worked great for years! Then it wont send... “Unable to send message” Must be a recent update bug. Hope they patch it. Soon. IPad 2 ios 9.3.5
